Some people say: There is no hell, bBible doesn't say it. It says says samting different: " ... it will do you less harm to lose one part of yourself then to have your whole body go to hell (Mt 5:29-30 ).
Others say: even if hell exists , there is no one in it. Its is empty. Saint sister Faustin had a vision of hell. She says, there are many people going into it :
" One day I saw two roads. One was broad, cowerd with sand and flowers, full of joy and music and all sorts of pleasures. People walk along it, dancing and enjoying themself They reached the end witthout realizing it.And at the end of the road there was a horible precipice; that is the abyss of hell. The souls fell blindly into it; as they walked, so they fell. And their number was so great that it was impossible count them..." (Diary 153)
Today I was led by an Angel to the chasms of hell. It is a place of great torture; haw awesomely large and extensive it is! The kind of tortures I saw; the first torture that constites hell is loss pf God; the second is perprtual remorse of conscience; the third is that once's condition will never change, the fourth is the fire that will penetrate the soul withhout destroing it - a terrible suffering, since it is a purly spiritual fire, lit by God's anger; the fifth tortue is continual darkness and a terrible suffocating smell, and despite the darkness, the devils and the souls of the damned see each other and all the evil, both of others and their own; the sixth tortue is constant company od Satan; the seventh torture is horrible despair, hatred of God, vile words, curses and blasphemies. These are tortures suffered by all the damed togather, but that is not the end of sufferings. There are special tortures destned for particular souls. There are the torments of the senses. Each souls undergo terrlible and indesribable sufferings related to the maner in which it has sinned. THere are caverns and pits of torture where one form of agony differs from athers. I would have died of the very sight of this tortures if the omnipotence of God had not supported mi. Let the sinner know that he will be tortured throughout all eternity in those senses which he made use of to sin (Diary 741 )
